It is expected to be completed in 2026.
Work on the new Warrawong Community Health Center is progressing to plan with Stephen Edwards Constructions appointed as main contractor.
Following the appointment, the next step is to finalize the design before construction begins in the coming months.
The center will provide essential community health services, including child and family health and community care.
Services on offer also include Aboriginal maternal and child health, sexual health services, drug and alcohol support and an equipment loan pool.
The facility will be located on the Port Kembla Hospital site and is expected to be completed in 2026.
