It is one of the outcomes of the occupational health objectives outlined in the Second National Health Strategy.
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in Qatar has developed an advanced occupational and environmental medicine program in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean.
A scientific committee has been established to guide the implementation of the program across the country and identify trainees, targeting experts and consultants in occupational medicine, family medicine and community medicine.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Health organized a training workshop for trainers of the programme, focusing on building national occupational health capacity and introducing the curriculum developed by the Occupational Health Section of the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the World Health Organization.
The program is one of the outcomes of Qatar’s occupational health goals outlined in Qatar’s Second National Health Strategy.
