Phoa Lee Lan will succeed Pek Wee Yang, who has held the position since 2016.
National Healthcare Group (NHG) has announced the appointment of Associate Professor Phoa Lee Lan as Chairman of the Medical Committee of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and Yishun Community Hospital (YCH) with effect from January 1.
Phoa will succeed Associate Professor Pek Wee Yang, who has held the position since 2016.
Prior to his appointment, Phoa served as Vice Chairman of the KTPH and YCH Medical Committee (Medical, Nursing and Integrated Processes) since 2017.
In addition, she serves as an adjunct associate professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Phoa also serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians.
