It will have the second highest healthcare trend growth rate, after the Middle East and Africa.

According to Aon plc, healthcare trends in Asia Pacific (APAC) are expected to increase by 11.1% by 2025. Report.

The report shows that the Asia-Pacific region is expected to have the second highest growth rate of medical trends, second only to the Middle East and Africa.

Alan Oates, global head of benefits for Aon Asia Pacific, said the rise was attributable to rising rates of cancer and chronic disease following the pandemic.

Additionally, factors such as prescription and specialty drugs, medical technology innovations, and geopolitical events are driving healthcare trends in the region.

Emotional health support, well-being measures and program enhancements also contribute to this upward trend.
