Vice President Dhankar says India cannot tolerate millions of illegal immigrants

Date:

Raipur – Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has expressed grave concern over the challenges posed by illegal immigration, population explosion and forced religious conversions, saying they pose new threats to the country’s stability. Addressing students from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur at an event titled 'Ideas for a Better India', Dhankar stressed the urgent need to implement unification Civil Code (UCC).

Danka bluntly declared: “No country can withstand the pressure of millions of illegal immigrants. This problem not only strains our resources, but also threatens our employment, health care and education sectors. Addressing this growing threat cannot No more delay. National interests must always take precedence over political considerations.

The Vice President highlighted the alarming impact of unchecked population growth, saying it posed a serious threat to the country's stability. “Ordinary population growth is peaceful and harmonious, but when it deliberately undermines democratic stability, it becomes a matter of serious concern,” he said.

Danka also raised the issue of orchestrated religious conversions, saying: “The planned attempt to change the demographic makeup of the country through induced conversions is a direct challenge to our culture and national identity.”

Danka reiterated the constitutional mandate to implement the Uniform Civil Code, calling it an important step towards national unity. “How can we object to what is written into our Constitution? The framers of our Constitution had the wisdom and foresight to envision for us fundamental principles, including a Uniform Civil Code as the goal of a mature democracy.

He further stressed the need for meaningful dialogue among political parties to reach consensus on key issues such as national security, development and sovereignty. “While political ideologies may differ, there are issues that require unity and unity for the greater good of the country,” he said.

Chhattisgarh Governor Raman Dekar stressed that India needs to be self-reliant and globally connected to build a strong nation. Highlighting the state's initiatives to combat climate change, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said, “We are focusing on green GDP by promoting measures to reduce carbon emissions and encouraging green steel production. Every challenge hides an opportunity.
