Musk opposes Trump's $500 billion AI deal

Musk, Tesla CEO and now a close aide to U.S. President Donald Trump, took to X this week to criticize OpenAI and the $500 billion artificial intelligence project Trump announced with great fanfare at the White House on Tuesday.

One of Trump's advisers wondered whether the incident could cause a rift between Trump and Musk, who leads his administration's efficiency plans.
