More and more popularity of orthopedic conditions are increasing market demand.

GlobalData said that South Korea's bone transplantation and alternative markets are expected to expand to 2033 with a 4 % compound annual growth rate.

The industry's growth is attributed to the increase in the prevalence of orthopedic diseases such as osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and trauma -related injuries, and the demand for advanced bone regeneration solutions has continued to rise.

However, Jyoti Sharma, a medical equipment analyst at GlobalData, said that conventional bone transplantation usually lacks sufficient adhesion and maintains difficulty in complex circumstances.

Sharma added: “New products (such as injection of hydrogel) are expected to provide promising progress by solving these gaps and enhancing the results of bone defect management.”

South Korea accounted for 5 % of the Asia -Pacific market share in 2024.
