Jakarta -The Bangton Office of Indonesian Supervisors estimates that after entering the sea, the fishermen suffered at least 24 billion rupees ($ 1.4 million) in revenue loss, which was hindered by the bamboo fence illegally installed on the coast of the Tan Gelan.
This is mainly because the 30km sea barrier spanning the waters of six areas of Tangerang forced about 4,000 fishermen to buy additional fuel to sail into the vessels for longer distances, effectively reducing catch.
“Not to mention that the sea barriers have also damaged the fishermen's boats,” Fadli Afridi, head of the office of the Ombudsman Banton, said at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday.
It is estimated that the loss was carried out from August last year to January this year, until the Navy launched the operation of unlicensed obstacles on January 18.
The appeal commissioner also discovered the signs of crimes in installing the sea fence and forged the land and land permit on the coastline facing the sea fence.
“There are strong signs of signs that the sea fence is installed to control the surrounding waters.”
“Therefore, we urge law enforcement agencies to investigate potential crimes in illegal installation of bamboo fences.”

Supervisors also found that the Bandden Maritime and Fisheries Bureau showed signs of bad management in marine resource management in the region.
Since January 18, the Navy has been leading the joint operations of water and air police and other institutions to demolish the bamboo fence.
The operation occupied 18.7 kilometers of fences in various parts of Tanglan before January 28, but the bad weather and high sea waves forced the navy to cancel the operation in order to demolish the remaining 11.4 kilometers of the second day structure.
Once the Navy spokesman CDRE allows the weather, the operation will recover. I asked Wira Hady to tell kompas Tuesday.
