Expressions of interest were closed on March 23.
The Australian government will invest $1.9 million (a $3 million) to fund research aimed at improving hospice and palliative care in New South Wales (NSW).
Eligible institutions can apply for grants up to $190,000 ($300,000) over three years for smaller research projects, while larger initiatives may earn up to $379,000 ($600,000).
Funds will be awarded through the competition application process. Expressions of interest were closed on March 23.
The End of Life and Palliative Care Research Grants encourages collaboration between NSW health, research institutions, community organizations, NGOs and Aboriginal community-controlled organizations.
