Kuala Lumpur – The Attorney General objected to three MPs participating in the application to participate in the judicial review application for Datuk Seri Najib Razak in connection with his home arrest bid, saying no protesters were required to be seen attending .
AG Datuk Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar(picture) In his affidavit, he said that only brief lawyers are allowed to watch the hearing and have no right to speak or make an argument.
“Any issues arising in this judicial review application are as stated in the affidavit filed under Article 53, 3(2) of the Rules of Courts, 2012.
“Other matters raised in the parliamentary debate have nothing to do with this application for judicial review.
“If any constitutional issues arise during this application trial, Najib's legal counsel has the right not to need the applicant's presence or argument to debate,” he said.
Dusuki opposes three members of Congress – opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Vice President Ronald Kiandee, Vice President Ronald Kiandee and PAS Vice President Datuk Seri Seri Dat Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar – will become allowed lawyers, and Lawyers are allowed. Dispute during the litigation process.
Members of Congress filed an application on January 22 to allow as observers, and were made by lawyer Tan Sri Azhar Azhar Azhar Azhar Azhar Azizan Harun, PAS Secretary General Takiyuddin Hassan and Zulkifli Nordin stands for.
In the affidavit, Dusuki also said that the applicant was not a party to the GAG order application that the government sought to prohibit any discussion of the matter.
He said the applicant has no right to challenge the government's application because the advantages of the GAG order are not a problem in its request to become an observer.
On January 6, Najib's application for judicial review was related to the Appellate Order, and the Court of Appeal sent his merits to the High Court.
Case Management will be available to the Deputy Register on March 11.
Najib applied for judicial review on April 1, 2024.
He appointed Minister of the Interior, Warden, Attorney General, Federal Territory Audit Committee, Minister of Prime Minister (Legal and Institutional Reform), Director of Legal Affairs of the Prime Minister's Department, Director-General of the Prime Minister's Department, and the Government were the first respondents respectively.
In the application notice, Najib seeks a directive order in which all respondents or one of them answered and verified the existence of the Appendix Order of January 29, 2024.
Najib is seeking a mandala order, if an appendix order exists, all or one defendant must perform the royal order and immediately move him from Kayan prison to his residence in Kuala Lumpur to serve his sentence in the House of Representatives arrest .
On July 4, 2024, the Kuala Lumpur High Court rejected Najib's leave application on the grounds of rumored affidavit of support. Later, he won the appeal in the Court of Appeal.
