According to Tawee, DSI will examine financial transactions totaling about 300 million baht, and some victorious candidates are believed to be used to buy support from peer voters.
Senator accuses TAWEE, DSI chief of bias
The panel leading the Senator to file complaints in the NACC office is Senator Chattrawat Saengphet, who handed it over to NACC Secretary General Saroj Pueungramphan.
After filing the complaint, Chattrawat called on the NACC to investigate whether Tawee and the DSI chief had committed malfeasance and took ulterior motives to persecute the senator.
He insists that all 200 senators are correctly elected under the organic laws of the EC regulations by members of Congress and senator elections and EC regulations. He said all winners have been thoroughly screened by the European Community from the application stage to their elections in all peer votes.
Chattrawat further claimed that Tawee and the DSI chief misled the public by accepting the case as a special case, causing misunderstanding and dissatisfaction with the senator.
