The Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH) has become the second hospital in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and has been recognized by the China International Hospital Certification Standard (2021 Edition).
Health Secretary Lo Chung-Mau said PWH follows Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, which was certified in December.
He added that this development reflects the consistency of the management, service and medical quality of Hong Kong's public hospitals with international standards.
Lu attended the ceremony with Chen Qing, a member of the Shenzhen Standing Committee of the CPC and the Shenzhen Party Leadership Group and its delegation.
