POCO F7 Ultra

Xiaomi has announced a new phone under its Poco sub-brand, and although it brings above-average display and camera performance relative to its $650 price tag, the biggest news is probably the phone introduces the new silicon, developed by Xiaomi, named VisionBoost D7. The chip is made on a 12nm process and it works along the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Soc to help new phones handle a lot of graphics.
From my tests, the game Genshin InfluenceThis is one of the most popular and graphics-intensive mobile games around that can run at 105 frames on the new POCO F7 Ultra, while Samsung's much more expensive S25 Ultra ($1,300) can only run the game at 60fps (frames per second). Even the iPhone 16 Pro Max, its chip developed by Apple is considered the most powerful silicon in a phone, and can only run at 100fps. That means Poco's $650 phone is technically capable of running intensive graphics better than Apple and Samsung's top-tier devices, at twice the price.
But this is technically speaking. The reality is, though, I personally don't see the difference between the 60fps running on a Samsung phone and the 105fps on a Poco phone. Both games went smoothly on my eyes because the 60fps smoothness was very smooth. However, I'm not a competitive gamer, and people who belong to the camp may be able to differentiate between 60fps and 110fps games.
The frame rate applied by Genshin impact on the Poco F7 Ultra always hovered at 100fps, with an average of about 105fps.

Still, Xiaomi's new chips can generate more power given the relatively affordable price of the POCO F7 Ultra.
Elsewhere, the POCO F7 Ultra has a powerful 50 megapixel TV camera, meaning it has a telephoto focal length of 60mm and is capable of producing macro photography, with a minimum focal distance of about 7 cm. During the testing process, I was able to capture the following image using POCO F7 Ultra.

As you can see, the Tele-Macro camera makes great photos. A normal phone, the 5300 mAh battery is large enough to be used normally all day, while the 6.7-inch OLED display function WQHD resolution has a refresh rate up to 120Hz. So this is another phone with performance that goes far beyond its price tag. But in the end, what sets it apart is Xiaomi's new silicon.
