It aims to enhance patient support services in public hospitals.
The Hospital Authority (HA) has completed the construction of the Hospital Authority Support Service Center (HASSC) and has begun operations.
The center aims to enhance patient support services in public hospitals and enhance their ability to handle emergencies.
“HASSC will centrally coordinate patient support services at HA hospitals, such as patient catering and laundry services for patient linens,” said Ha Simon Tang's director of Cluster Services.
He also added that the center uses automated systems and robotics to reduce operational and logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
The HASSC area is 62,000 m2 and includes a central laundry, food and company data center. It is expected to increase its service capacity by 2030.
